Lagu Love Story by Taylor Swift ini diproduksi oleh Nathan Chapman bersama Swift. Dirilis pada 12 September 2008 oleh Big Machine Records, lagu ini merupakan singel utama dari album kedua Swift, Fearless (2008). Liriknya menceritakan kisah cinta rumit yang diakhiri dengan lamaran pernikahan, terinspirasi dari seorang pria yang tidak pernah dia kencani. Swift menggunakan plot Romeo and Juliet (1597) oleh William Shakespeare sebagai dasar cerita dalam lagu ini, seperti diceritakan dari persepektif Juliet. tetapi mengganti akhir tragis dari drama tersebut menjadi sebuah happy ending atau akhir yang bahagia.
